If you experience video problems (such as flashing) within the game follow these steps:
   right-click on your display and choose "Properties"
   click the "Settings" tab
   click the "Advanced" button
   click the "Troubleshoot" tab
   change "Hardware acceleration" to "None" and click "Apply"
